The wish lantern team are very pleased, ecstatic even, to announce that they now have wish lanterns and wedding lanterns in stock again- 40,000 no less- cluttering up their Wimbledon warehouse, ready and waiting to be sold. The last month has been a difficult time for the team as they waited patiently for lanterns to be delivered from their distributor in China. Order upon order stacked up, waiting to be processed as the team had to inform customers that their order would be delayed. In many cases loyal customers were more than happy to wait for their lantern. For couples planning a wedding, lanterns are usually ordered well in advance- up to one year in some cases- of the wedding day, so waiting a few weeks didn’t make much difference. For others however, the disappointment was great. People were ordering a small batch of lanterns to launch at birthday parties or anniversary parties, which were being held on the weekend after they had placed their order. It was very sad for the WL team to have to let them down. But at last, lanterns have finally arrived, so the team can get back to what they love doing, selling and sending out the wonderful wish lantern!
